Liquid Geniuses

Our work

Software that gives time back.

The short version of what we’ve built, and what changed for the people using it.

CAPS Cedar Falls × Cedar Falls High School

A CRM for the class that partners with local businesses.

CAPS students take on real projects for local businesses. Keeping track of every inquiry and project was eating hours of staff time, so we built them one place to manage it all.

3–4 hrs given back to the director and staff, every week
The student view of the CAPS project board: project ideas from local businesses sorted into columns and color-coded by career pathway. Business names are blurred.

The spill

A big class, lots of moving parts

Over 150 business project ideas a year, across six career pathways and two CAPS programs. Keeping up with all of it landed on the director and staff.

The pour

A CRM built for how CAPS works

Businesses submit ideas through a form staff can edit themselves. Staff sort and assign projects on their own boards, and students browse a view-only board.

In the glass

3–4 hours back, every week

Less time chasing details, more time for students and business partners.

Inside the tool

Built around how CAPS runs.

Staff run the whole program from one place, without calling a developer for every change.
