Liquid Geniuses is an independent software studio that builds custom software for small businesses. We think the right tool, built for the way you actually work, can change how a small business runs.
The name
Why a light bulb in a glass?
The light bulb is the oldest symbol for an idea, and on its own an idea is only a promise. Our logo puts the bulb in a glass of liquid because that’s the job: take a bright idea and pour it into something real, useful, and shaped to fit.
“Liquid” is also how we work. Liquid takes the shape of whatever holds it. Your software should too. We shape the software to your business, never your business to the software.
“Geniuses” is the team that makes it happen: the people who take the problem you’ve lived with for years and make it suddenly just work.

A simple tool your team uses every day beats a dazzling one nobody opens. We build for Tuesday afternoon, not launch day.

Plain English or it doesn’t count
If we can’t explain what we built and why in a page a busy owner can read, the job isn’t done.

Small business is the whole point
We’re not an enterprise shop squeezing in small clients. Small businesses are who we build for, and we price and plan that way.

Say no early
Some problems don’t need custom software. If an off-the-shelf tool or a process change is the better fix, we’ll tell you.
